Set up a pumpkin patch

One fo the most innovative halloween fundraising ideas we've come across, why not consider using pumpkins to fundraise? Whether in your office parking lot, your school courtyard or your business-centre park, why not set up a pumpkin patch? Bulk buy pumpkins and advertise that people can come and choose their own for a donation on top of the cost of the pumpkin. Alternatively, why not set up a photography studio in your pumpkin patch, complete with props and costumes and ask for donations in exchange for photos!

Similarly, create a business pumpkin-carving event, inviting your colleagues and encouraging them to bring friends and family. Make the event family friendly and provide hot chocolate and sweets for a really Halloweeny feel! Charge an entry ticket to cover expenses and donate the rest of the money to charity.

Run an office fancy dress

Whatever your company - whether you’re in an office, retail, customer service, education etc - why not run a fancy dress day for your staff. Treat it like a non-uniform day at school and encourage donations or charge a fee!

Alternatively, you could get everyone to contribute a small set amount of money, and then split the total - half as a prize for best costume, and half as a donation to your chosen charity.

Host a party

Whether it's an informal office party or a formal black tie ball, hosting a party is one of the best halloween fundraising ideas. Charge admission and let your staff and colleagues know that all the money is going to charity. Encourage donations, set up a raffle, charge for games, provide a spooky bake sale - it all adds up to more fun and more fundraising.

Set up a Halloween quiz

As halloween fundraising ideas, this one is easy peasy! At your local pub or just in the staff room - set up a fun, spooky Halloween trivia quiz. You could have round on iconic horror films, trick or treating and even the history of All Hallow’s Eve. Charge to take part and donate the funds!

Turn your business into a haunted house

Whack up some decorations, dim the lights and get the Halloween playlist on shuffle! Create your own haunted house in your place of work and encourage colleagues and their families to come and join in the fun!

Once you’ve raised funds for your desired charity, don’t forget to invest in a Halloween-themed giant presentation cheque to capture your success! Not only will a cheque serve as a great reminder of your efforts, you can use it for a fantastic photo opportunity - pop it in the company newsletter or on your social media platforms and encourage your followers and friends to donate too!
