Charity Cheques – What material should I go for?

Take a look at the various options below to find out!

Big cheques on poster paper

Use this material for low-expense, single-use charity cheques.

Poster paper is the budget-friendly option, so if you’re trying to keep costs down this could be the one for you. Our large presentation cheques are printed on sturdy 190gsm poster paper -making them easy to display and store (roll them up for ease of storage!) The main disadvantage to poster paper giant cheques is that they are subject to damage; paper is easy to tear and crinkle, so it might not be the most cost-effective solution in the long term, if you’re going to use it multiple times or for many photo ops!

Consider this option for a more durable and reusable, but still budget-friendly, cheque.

Adding dry-wipe lamination to poster paper makes it a lot more durable, and much harder to tear! It also adds the benefit of making the jumbo cheque reusable – simply write on the cheque with erasable markers, then wipe clean and repeat! Poster paper with dry-wipe laminate is a good intermediate option – still budget friendly, but able to be reused and edited as your donations pour in!

Printing cheques on 5mm PVC Foam Board

Use this material for sturdier cheques- ideal for outdoor use!

A much sturdier option for outdoor ceremonies or many photo opportunities! 5mm PVC foam board is a much more durable material than poster paper, allowing it better longevity. It’s also totally weatherproof, with UV resistant ink, so use foam board for cheques that will be presented or displayed outside.

The best of the best- reusable, durable and weatherproof!

Although this works out as the most expensive, it is actually cost-effective in the long run, as these large cheques can be reused again and again. Simply write and erase details like the cause, amount and dates – and don’t forget, these foam board cheques will last a long time and are totally safe for use both indoors and outdoors!
